Roughly 1.700 people attended a peaceful protest in downtown Reykjavík yesterday to object Israel’s actions in Gaza, reports Vísir.

The protest rally – called Stop The Bloodbath In Gaza – was put together by the group Iceland-Palestine (Ísland-Palestína) and took place outside the Reykjavík District Court House on Lækjartorg.

The demonstration was arranged in light of the ongoing Israeli offensive on the Gaza strip. Global outrage at Israel’s actions has been intensifying as the Palestinian civilian death count continues to rise.
